Cantermere is free to run your yard on. When someone pays you online we take 2.9% + 30p out of that payment, and that is the lot — card processing is inside that number, not on top. Cash and bank payments you record yourself cost nothing.

What that looks like
Say a rider pays £35 for a private lesson online. Our fee is £1.02 (2.9%) plus 30p — £1.32 all in — so £33.68 reaches your account. Card processing is covered inside that, not charged again afterwards.
Most riding-school booking systems charge a monthly fee and a similar rate per transaction. With Cantermere there is no monthly fee — you only pay when money actually comes in.
The usual questions
- What if we take most payments at the yard?
- Then Cantermere costs you nothing. Recording a cash or bank payment is free, and plenty of yards run that way.
- Is there a limit on horses, riders or lessons?
- No. The price does not change with the size of the yard, and there is no per-user charge for your instructors.
- Can we leave?
- Whenever you like — there is no contract and no notice period. Your data is yours and you can take it with you.
